Board of Directors

Tim Elliot

Tim Elliott: President

E-Mail:

Pastor Tim has served at the Woodland Baptist Church and in the Woodland community for 29 years and he has served Life Hope as President since 2001.

The Woodland Baptist Church was one of the first places Life Hope's founder, Carla Dooley, visited when she was looking for people to recruit for Life Hope. There she met with longtime Woodland resident Pastor Tim Elliott and explained how God had prompted her to start a Pregnancy Care Center in Woodland, Washington. Unknown to Carla at the time, Pastor Tim had been praying for a new opportunity to get involved in a local ministry that helps people in the community.

Pastor Tim was an answer to prayer for Carla (and Life Hope) and Carla's idea of a Pregnancy Care Center was an answer to prayer for Pastor Tim.

Matt Andersen: Vice President

Matt has been serving at Life Hope as Vice President since 2007. He was born in Vancouver, Washington and graduated from Fort Vancouver High School. He also attended Willamette University where he played college football. He double majored in History and Religious Studies and received a Bachelor of Science in 1996. Matt went on to the Willamette University College of Law in 1996 and graduated, magna cum laude, in 1999. He has been practicing law in SW Washington since graduation. As a Woodland resident, Matt attends Grace Community Church and is active in various outreaches. However, he and his family have a real heart for Pregnancy Care Centers and a real desire to see centers get ultrasound technology.

Joy Snead

Joy Snead: Treasurer

E-Mail:

Woodland's Twin City Bank Manager, Joy Snead, has served in the surrounding communities since 1995 and at Life Hope since 2001. Joy freely gives of herself to many organizations but has a special place in her heart for Life Hope. Approached by President Tim Elliott for her business experience, Joy's life experience as a young, frightened, unwed mother, facing the decision to abort or not in her youth, came to light as well.

Her training in the business world gives Joy the head knowledge and her life experiences give her the heart knowledge to help Life Hope be a real asset to the surrounding communities. This deep compassion and concern for the youth and people of the Lewis River areas flows into her work life, family life, and her church life at the Ridgefield Nazarene.

Lori Anderson

Lori Anderson: Secretary & Director

E-Mail:

Lori Anderson and her daughter Whitney got involved with Life Hope after hearing Carla Dooley speak at the Woodland Christian Church where they attend. The mother/daughter team took the very first volunteer training in March of 2002.

Lori and Whitney (and Lori's other three children) have done whatever was asked of them from that point on, fulfilling their self-appointed label of "worker bees". (For Lori that meant a variety of tasks like: counseling, reception work, painting, cleaning, organizing, training, research work, administrative paperwork, writing, directing when Carla needed a break, abstinence speaking, etc.)

Then in 2004, due to a family situation that required Carla's attention, Carla resigned, recommending Lori for the position of director full time. The Board voted Lori in that summer and she has been serving as Director ever since.

Lori Anderson's life has been a series of transforming experiences and adversities that have given her a great love for God and a deep compassion for unborn and born babies and their families.
