Statement of Faith

We believe that...

Because

the Bible is the special revelation of God and the only book inspired by Him, it is our only reliable and authoritative resource for Godly living.

Because

the God of the Bible is holy and loving, eternal and unchanging, and there is none like Him, He is worthy of our complete trust.
      James 1:17; Deut. 32:4; Isa. 40:28; Deut. 4:35; Hebrews 11:6

Because

the God of the Bible is a Tri-unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we, as believers, should also be united in Jesus Christ.
      Matthew 28:19-20; John 17:20-21

Because

the God of the Bible created and sustains the heavens and the earth and all therein, He is rightful Lord over all.
      John 1:3; Col 1:16; Rev. 4:11

Because

the God of the Bible has made us in His image and participates in the formation of every individual in the womb, we, as believers recognize that He is worthy of our constant praise and that each child is uniquely, purposefully created.
      Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-15; Jeremiah 1:5

Because

sin separates all of us from the very source of life, God Himself, it always results in death (in this life: characterized by a lack of direction, deception about what is true, inability to fully enjoy life, and finally in the life to come: separation from God eternally).
      Romans 6:20-21, 23a

Because

Jesus Christ, God's one-of-a-kind son, paid the penalty for our sin on the cross, we may become a child of God only through faith in Jesus Christ.
      Romans 6:23b; John 14:6

Because

every believer has been baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit and given a spiritual gift, all believers are mutually dependent of each other for ministry and vital living and all answer to Jesus Christ as head.
      1 Corinthians 12:4, 7, 12-13

Because

there is a final accounting before Jesus Christ after the resurrection, All of us are to repudiate sin and live holy lives.
